Identifying Catphishing & Deepfakes

Applications Used: Articulate Rise

  • Stakeholders from the Talent Acquisition team contacted the Learning Department with a pressing concern. They had noticed a rise in catphishing and deepfake attempts by individuals applying for positions to gain access to sensitive company information. To address this issue, they requested a training program to help team members become more aware and vigilant against these sophisticated fraudulent tactics.

  • Stakeholders emphasized the urgency of the situation and requested a quick turnaround for the project, aiming for completion within 3-4 weeks. With a clear understanding of their vision, I crafted a storyboard that outlined the training content. This storyboard served as a blueprint, ensuring that the final product would meet the stakeholders' needs and effectively educate team members on identifying and responding to catphishing and deepfake threats.

  • The training program was successfully delivered within the 4-week timeline. The feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive. In fact, 96% of learners reported a significant increase in their awareness and ability to recognize and handle potential security threats related to catphishing and deepfakes. This enhanced vigilance has contributed to a more secure recruitment process and safeguarded sensitive company information.
