Edwin Cineus

I am a lifelong learner with a passion for education and a strong background in instructional design and development. I have experience in designing and implementing curricula using research-based technologies and techniques to address individual learners' needs. My expertise lies in creating engaging, dynamic, and visually stimulating e-learning materials to close knowledge gaps for a diverse range of learners. I am well-versed in utilizing adult learning theories and have developed various training methods, including face-to-face, blended, and virtual formats, to deliver effective results.

With the COVID-19 pandemic leading to a rapid shift to virtual and distance learning, I showcased my adaptability and versatility in incorporating technology into educational settings. This experience motivated me to pursue a Master's degree in Instructional Technology, further solidifying my commitment to maintaining a high level of education by promoting innovative and engaging learning solutions.

Prior to my current position, I served as a Middle Years Social Studies Teacher, where I designed e-learning deliverables for a large group of learners. I utilized tools such as G Suite applications, Microsoft Office, and Blackboard to create engaging slide decks, job aids, and interactive games. I also conducted train-the-trainer professional development sessions and evaluated learners using various assessment methods. I implemented an all-digital curriculum through Google Classroom and collaborated effectively with Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders to translate instructional goals into engaging learning materials.

Education-wise, I hold a Master's degree (M.Ed) in Instructional Technology from Widener University, where I achieved a GPA of 3.9. I also earned a Bachelor's degree (B.A) in Political Science from Stockton University, with a GPA of 3.4.

Overall, my professional experience, passion for education, and expertise in instructional design and technology make me well-equipped to create impactful and engaging learning experiences that cater to diverse learners' needs.
